“Nuts & Bolts,” our student organization training workshop, will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 9:00am – 4:00pm in the Campus Center and other buildings on campus. If you’re involved in a student organization that receives funding through the Student Governing Association (SGA) you need to put this date in your calendar now!
Student organizations must have at least three (3) representatives attend “Nuts & Bolts” in order to be eligible to request funding through the SGA for the Fall 2015 semester.
It is strongly encouraged that the members attending hold officer positions within your organization.
Attendees are required to stay for the entire duration of the workshop in order to receive credit for the student organization.
We’ll go over everything from making a reservation for rooms on campus, budget guidelines and deadlines, some tips on running effective meetings and more. Other colleges take a week or more to cover what we try to do in one day – so it’s important that you’re here!
So come awake and prepared to take notes and ask questions.
